	UCSB Vanpool Program General Information Vanpools provide an inexpensive alternative transportation option for long distance employee and student commuters of UCSB. Eligibility UCSB/UCOP employees and current students, subject to availability. Routes UCSB Vanpools currently serve commuters from Santa Maria, Buellton, Santa Ynez, Solvang, Lompoc, Carpinteria, Ventura, Camarillo, and Thousand Oaks. Pick-up and departure locations are determined by the participants of each individual van. Any changes of the regular pick-up and departure locations are sent to the Vanpool Coordinator. Schedule Schedules are determined by the participants of each individual van. Any changes in the regular schedule are sent to the Vanpool Coordinator. Departure/arrival times are subject to traffic and roadway conditions and are not guaranteed. Please view the current vanpool schedule. Subscription Information UCSB Vanpool riders must subscribe to a seat scheduled either full time (M-F), or part time: either Tuesday/Thursday (TR) or Monday/Wednesday/Friday (MWF). Part time fares are pro-rated, as shown below.  Waiting lists Waiting lists are ordered chronologically on a first come, first served basis. TAP will let you know when a seat becomes available. Standby Rider Vouchers Vanpool standby rider vouchers provide transportation on a space-available basis. Standby rider vouchers are sold individually for each direction and may be purchased with cash or check from the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) office Monday - Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM. Cost Discounted fares are available for drivers. University employees may elect to enroll for pre-tax payroll deduction.
